(las) vegas

Sin City is one of my favorite cities in the entire world. Now it's not because it is one of the most common places people flock to, to get belligrant. But it is because it is truly a beautiful city. The mountains and the desert land is a pleasant change from the humidity that is Florida. We flew in a four seater plane, went to two beautiful shows, explored the strip at night (a mandatory event) and sky dove about the Hoover Dam. A successful trip nonetheless.

Sorry I've been gone for so long, but life has picked up a bit, but I want to explain the one even that blew my mind. Bonnaroo, if you like music as much as I do, you've probably heard of this place. It is a musical wonderland in the middle of Manchester, Tennessee. If you know of anyone who has participated in the event, you have probably heard of spirit this four day festival. Bonnaroo bleeds happiness and good music, and for four days, it's only about the company you keep, the UV rays from the sun, the chilled nights and the music you love.

And the food... no one told me the food was going to be that good.

(columbus) ohio

Had an impromptu trip to Columbus, Ohio. I hadn't been there in years and the trip was everything and more. Here are a few highlights of mine. 

Before the flight I had to pick the latest. 

 I stayed with my cousin, and this is her adorable kitchen. I thought it was worth a picture. It is adorable.

 I was fed amazing the entire trip, there's nothing I love more than trying new food. 

 There were these amazing murals through out this area called Short North, I think this was my favorite part.

 More food.

 The house my father grew up in. 

 We found some amazing books at my Great Aunt's house, the one above is a journal written by my great great grandfather and below is the introduction to a book copywritten in 1887. Amazing.

(flat) hiking

Hiking in Florida does not mean climbing hills and the sides of mountains, it means jut walking trails. So to say I went hiking the other day seems like a lie, but we went flat hiking.

It was a grey day, but it was the perfect "hike."

I love the days that you spend on your own. Got a nice veggie sammie and ice cream. Cappacino chocoloate chip and cinnamon crumb cake mix. Yes. I know.

I wore my favorite vintage mom jeans. Lately, I haven't been wearing my uniform skinny jeans and been sporting my mom jeans. My shirt, I made! I would love some feed back if you have any.
